Church in Brampton

CHURCH HISTORY & CHURCH LIFE

Between 1998 and 2000, two families from the church in Toronto moved to Brampton to raise up the Lord’s testimony. With the leading and blessing from the Lord and the leading brothers in Metro Toronto, a home meeting was started in the home of one of the families while those saints continued to meet and serve in the church in Toronto. Over a period of time, some more families from Toronto joined the Friday home meeting in Brampton. What started out as once a month grew slowly to twice a month, then every Lord’s Day in Brampton. In the fall of 2001, the saints started having bread-breaking meetings on Lord’s Days at a brother’s house. Due to the need for space, the saints moved their meeting location to a Best Western Hotel in June 2005 until the present. The church has been experiencing much blessing from the Lord, as seen in the growth in life of the saints and the number of those attending.
