Church in Burnaby

CHURCH HISTORY & CHURCH LIFE

The church in Burnaby began from meetings in the homes of saints who migrated from Vancouver in 1988. With the increase in the number of saints, the church there rented the Elks Hall in 1991 and soon after, an adjacent facility for children’s meetings was also added. In 1993 the meeting hall at Norfolk Avenue was purchased and the number of saints has been growing steadily. In 2011, some saints meeting in Burnaby who were burdened for the establishing of the church in Coquitlam began meeting in Coquitlam.
