Church in Markham

CHURCH HISTORY & CHURCH LIFE

Two families started a home meeting in August 1997. In late 2001, the saints purchased a meeting hall at 11381 McCowan Road and the following month, in December 2001, the Lord’s table was established. On March 7-8, 2008 the first-ever Canada Brothers conference was held at the Markham hall. The church in Markham is active in gospel preaching with 80% of the saints had their baptism there at the meeting hall. Since the hall sits on a 9.75 acre property, it is an ideal venue for holding young people’s retreats, conferences and trainings for the churches in the Greater Toronto area.
