CHURCH HISTORY & CHURCH LIFE
During the decade of 2010 several seeking saints were living and praying for the resumption of the Lord’s table in Mississauga. Some full time serving brothers and sisters from Toronto would also join and strengthen the weekly prayer meeting.
In the years 2015 & 2016, as a response to prayer and the Holy Spirit’s moving, there were 2 GTCA events (Gospelize, Truthize, Churchize America) with the Full Time trainees from Anaheim, saints from nearby churches & the local saints. This was a wonderful time of shepherding, gospel preaching and enjoyment of the Body life. During these 2 years there were also additional migrations of saints from nearby churches to further confirm the Lord’s desire for a lampstand in Mississauga.
Finally on March 5, 2017, in fellowship with the Canadian brothers and some senior co-workers in the Lord’s recovery, the Lord’s table was re-established in Misissauga. This was a glorious new beginning which was witnessed by 600+ saints from the churches in Eastern Canada.
Under the Lord’s sovereign arrangement, each year there have been saints who have migrated to Mississauga. The church in Mississauga has enjoyed much blessing by migration. Praise the Lord.
Currently there are several meetings throughout the week (Lord’s table & prophesying meeting, Prayer meeting, College meeting, Young people’s meeting, home meetings in languages (English, Chinese & Korean). We also enjoying blending once month with the church in Brampton.
